Sorelle was not built in a boardroom. It was built behind the chair, inside real salons, through thousands of consultations, installs and honest conversations with women who wanted more from their hair and the people trusted to work on it.
Nicole McDonell
Co-Founder · Master Hair Extensionist · Trainer & Assessor
Nicole has spent 37 years in the hair industry. She is a qualified hairdresser, Master Hair Extensionist, certified trainer and assessor, and an award-winning extension specialist.
Her career has been built on precision, problem-solving and an uncompromising belief that hair extensions should never come at the cost of a client’s natural hair. That belief became the foundation of the Structural Seam™ Installation System — a method built around controlled tension, correct placement, balanced weight distribution and safe grow-out.
Nicole does not treat extensions as a one-size-fits-all service. She maps every head individually, assessing density, scalp health, lifestyle and long-term hair condition before a single weft is placed. The goal is not just a beautiful install on day one. The goal is a clean grow-out, a comfortable fit and a client who comes back with her natural hair still intact.
She teaches from that same place. Her education is built for stylists who want to understand the why, not just the how.

Hannah Graham
Co-Founder · Qualified Hairdresser · Colour Specialist
Hannah is a qualified hairdresser with 13 years of experience in the industry. Her strength lies in colour work, blondes, transformations and colour corrections. She has a sharp eye for tone, balance and placement — the kind of finish that makes hair look expensive without looking overdone.
Where Nicole builds the structure, Hannah elevates the finish. She understands the emotional power of a beautiful result — the difference between hair that looks done and hair that looks like yours, only better. Her focus is on the lived-in, polished outcome that makes women feel quietly confident rather than obviously changed.
Hannah brings modern salon relevance to the Sorelle brand. She understands what today’s clients actually want — and how to translate that want into a result that holds up beyond the salon visit.

The partnership
Two strengths.
One standard.
Nicole and Hannah have worked side by side for more than 10 years. Their partnership was not built overnight. It grew through years of standing beside each other in the salon — building businesses, solving client problems, training staff, refining techniques and learning exactly what women need when they sit in the chair.
Together, they co-founded and built Maxyn Asher Hair Salon in Mackay — a serious salon brand with systems, standards and a loyal client base, strong enough to sell. That chapter taught them things most people never see from the outside: how hard salon ownership really is, what stylists need to grow, what clients actually value, and that a beautiful brand means nothing without structure behind it.
